My company has recently implemented and launched a HRIS for the first time.
The HR Analytics Masterclass gave me a fantastic overview of what I can do with all of this new information.
It’s quite overwhelming having such a huge wealth of employee data, but the class allowed me to pinpoint the questions I should be asking, the correct type of analysis to apply to this data and how to contextualise it for the different groups I need to communicate to.
One of the biggest take-aways from the session was understanding how to present my information in a way that aligns to the business goals.
Only then can this information have real meaning and help our leaders make informed decisions.
Some of the analytical tools mentioned on the course have also helped me adjust my ways of thinking when it comes to data analysis – broadening the scope of my evaluations to include external comparisons, industry and sector data as well as CIPD annual survey.
