Factors That May Impact Your Completion Time

Aside from the level and type of ILM qualification you choose, there are other factors that might affect how long it will take you to complete your course.

The study method you prefer and the learning provider you choose, in particular, will make a big difference here.

With ILM qualifications, you have the option to learn in a classroom, online, or via a mixture of both - all of which come with pros and cons for you to weigh out depending on your life, family, and work obligations.

If you decide to learn in the classroom, for example, it might take you less time (i.e. days to weeks to complete a specific ILM qualification), but you’ll need to dedicate yourself to set class times on top of self-study.

If you choose online learning, on the other hand, most providers (like us!) offer flexible qualifications with extended support periods so you can shape your studies to fit you rather than the other way around. There’s also often an option to fast track your ILM qualification if you so choose.

Taking the time to enrol on an ILM qualification can do wonders for your leadership and management career. Now that you know how long it will take you, all that’s left to do is get started!
