A Level Student Stories: Charlie Craig | A Level Psychology Review

Charlie wanted to go to university to study Psychology but needed to gain his A-Level in Psychology first, find out how he got on in his story below.

Charlie has a passion for human behaviour and wanted to study Psychology at university. In order to do this, he was keen to achieve his A Level in Psychology first.

I studied AS and A2 level Psychology with ICS Learn over the course of a year. I chose to study Psychology as I have a keen interest in human behaviour and would like to pursue a career in Psychology in the future.

I'm planning to study Psychology at university and chose to study with ICS Learn, as A level Psychology is not offered in most schools and colleges in Northern Ireland. At first I did have some reservations about studying online. Despite this I found learning online to be much more suited to my style of learning and felt much more in control of my studies.

I found it advantageous not having to deal with the obligations that you might have in the classroom.

Furthermore, I found the online lessons provided by ICS Learn to be very useful and the ability to work through them at my own pace was of great benefit.

Another advantage of the online programme was that I could work through the material over and over again which isn’t always the case in the classroom.

The support from my online tutor was fantastic and any additional help I needed was provided effectively; one main benefit of having an online tutor was I could contact them at any point which wasn’t the case for my previous teachers in school.

Responses from my tutor were quick and extremely helpful. The flexibility helped me a lot as I could learn according to my own strengths and weaknesses.

Overall I found the support provided by ICS Learn to be very effective and would encourage anyone comfortable with remote learning to use ICS Learn.

I managed to achieve an A star grade in my course which helped me to secure a place at my first choice university, which I will be attending in September to study Psychology.

If you're like Charlie and looking to gain A Levels for university entry, why not enrol gain an A-Level qualification today.
